Ibernice Macbean and Cara Van der Auwera at the IOA

We started 2023 on a high note by inviting vocal coach Ibernice Macbean and coach Cara Van der Auwera to the IOA. Both of them prepared our students for the unique repertoire of American Songbook which will feature in the upcoming IOA on Tour concerts, next to the tried and trusted opera repertoire.
Ibernice Macbean, known as vocal coach on The Voice, introduced our students to the very different singing technique required for this extraordinary repertoire.
Radio personality and classically trained singer Cara Van der Auwera worked on perfecting the stage presence and acting skills of our students.
With the professional help of these coaches, our students are getting ready for a semester full of exciting projects.
