Mathilda Sidén Silfver


Swedish mezzo-soprano Mathilda Sidén Silfver has been a regular singer at Ulriksdals Palace Theatre’s summer Opera and Music Festival where, she made her role debut in 2021 as Second Witch and Mercury in the production of H. Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with director William Relton and conductor Olof Boman. In 2023 she performed as Mme de Croissy in the Opera Studio Kulturamas production of F. Poulenc’s opera Dialogues des carmélites.

Mathilda also frequently performs as an oratorio and concert soloist. Her repertoire contains many works by a.o. J.S. Bach and G.F. Händel.

During her bachelor studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm (2019-2021) she began singing in professional ensembles such as the Eric Ericson’s Chamber Choir and the Swedish Radio Choir. She has been a regular member of the latter since 2021.

Mathilda currently studies at the International Opera Academy in Ghent.
