It’s spring! Start of the new year

Although autumn has definitely arrived by now, it is the feeling of spring that currently permeates the IOA. We start afresh today, all but free from any of the restrictions that have been keeping us for so long. 15 students from 10 different countries join the programme at the start of this new, two-year cycle.   

During the many activities that we have planned for this academic year, you will recognize several students from earlier IOA productions. Indeed, 5 students have chosen to study another year at the IOA, to go all out and prepare for their professional future in optimal circumstances.  

You can find the IOA calendar here. One special recommendation: don’t miss out on our Gala Concert (postponed, due to Covid-19) on Friday, 17 December at the Music Centre of de Bijloke. This concert celebrates 20 years of IOA, and brings together the Belgian National Orchestra, IOA masters, alumni and current students in a Mozart gala. A unique concert for this new start. See you then!
