Anna Alvizou
Anna Alvizou is a Greek pianist with degrees in Piano Performance and Liedgestaltung from the Ionian University, Greece, and the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Trossingen, Germany, all with distinction.
After her studies she has furthered her knowledge in the field of Art Song and Opera with pianists Jeanne-Minette Cilliers and Aaron Wajnberg at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, Belgium, also working as a singer’s accompanist. In 2022 Anna was awarded the special prize ’Best Lied Pianist’ at the international Triomphe de l’art competition in Brussels. Together with her Lied-duo partner, soprano Jessica Harper, she was also awarded at the International Lied Festival Zeist, and the International Lied Competition Bolko von Hochberg. In February 2025 they were admitted to the 46. Stuttgarter Meisterkurs für Lied at the International Hugo Wolf Academy.
