Russian Language Coaching
Polina was born in St. Petersburg, Russia; in 2009 she graduated with distinction at the Saint-Petersburg Conservatoire and two years later at the Royal Northern College of Music (Manchester, UK), where she got a Master of Music (degree: distinction) with Professor Norma Fisher.
In 2011 she entered the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium, in the piano class of Abdel Rahman El Bacha. Upon moving to Belgium, she started to work as an accompanist in classes by José van Dam, Gary Hoffman and Augustin Dumay; she further accompanied masterclasses of June Anderson, Helmut Deutsch, Sophie Koch and Dietrich Henschel.
In season 2014-2015, she completed an internship at the International Opera Academy; during this internship, she participated as repetiteur in three productions: Benoît Mernier’s Frühlings Erwachen, Mozart Revisited H<3RT 2 GET! at Kunsthuis Opera Vlaanderen and Troika (Rachmaninov) in de Munt | La Monnaie.
From 2015 onwards, she worked at de Munt | La Monnaie, Antwerp Conservatory and at the IOA as an opera repetiteur, piano accompanist, vocal and language coach. She participated in the following opera productions: To be sung (Pascal Dusapin); Demon (Anton Rubinstein); Macbeth (Verdi); Coq d’Or (Rimsky-Korsakov); L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti); Foxie! (Janacek); Penelope (Fauré) and Messa di Gloria (Puccini) in de Munt | La Monnaie, as well as Hänsel und Gretel (Humperdinck); Carmen (Bizet) and Traviata (Verdi), in other venues.
She accompanied masterclasses by Pascal Dusapin, Roberta Alexander, Yves Cortvrint and Georg Nigl in de Munt | La Monnaie; further, she accompanied the Summer School at ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Dutch National Opera Rossini workshop with Alberto Zedda.
In 2017, she started to work as solo-repetiteur and coach in Theatre Bremen.
